Denny Tate

Willard’s son and Rose’s sister, Denny was always a strange individual. He evinced no great interest in women, or men for that matter; he did seem to have a knack for getting along with animals, probably a result of the taint of elvish in the Tate blood. He served in the Karentine cavalry out of Fort Must in the Cantard for five years, made sergeant, then mustered out. He met Garrett afterward, in TunFaire, and they became friends; this was about eight years before the events in Sweet Silver Blues. Denny kept in touch with his cavalry buddies Vasco, Barbera, Quinn, and Kurts after the war, as well as Kayean Kronk, and used their information to play the metals market, building up a small fortune in the process. He registered a will with Kayean as the beneficiary, some time before falling off of his horse on a crowded street and dying of a broken neck.
