Full Harbor

An important Karentine naval port in the Cantard. It is laid out something like a lobster's head between its claws - the claws are rocky arms of land that reach out and shelter the bay from storms, while the city proper is built on the neck of land that forms the lobster's head. The city is protected from ground assault by the Narrows Wall, built at the base of the peninsula. Between the Narrows Wall and the port are a range of low hills on which the rich and influential of the city build their homes. Just past the Wall, North Creek winds its way up from the city. Due west of Full Harbor lies a desert of colorful buttes and mesas, a desolate and deserted country.

Two competing governments rule in Full Harbor. The civilian government is made up of Syndics, while the military government follows the normal chain of command. Each government keeps its own records, and they have a stiff rivalry for power. The strong military presence may have contributed to the stern laws of Full Harbor; for instance, public nudity is punished by a lifetime of service in the Cantard silver mines.

At night, the shore of Full Harbor is patrolled by Marines looking for Venageti spies.

Buildings of note include a number of Orthodox parishes, the civil city hall right next to the city jail, a military city hall and a number of cathouses and inns.
